To Tone Dancer :
Sammy is the only To Tone Dog not to have the same Kennel name as Race name, she is called Sammy or indeed when I get a bit excited when she runs Sam Sam, I reared Sammy and she is a really lovely girl in everyway you can think of, she is a Fawn but with a Black Tail quite rare take a look when you next see a Fawn, she has a lovely nature and indeed at home will wait patiently for her fuss while the other dogs have there's first but she always gets her fair share, On the Track Sammy had her first race on the 26th April 2014 a A8 and she came 2nd but she didn't wait long and Won her next 3 races in a Row which took her into a A5 she came 2nd then from July to Won 4 more times to take into the A1 grade, but a 3rd place in a A1 was her best but sadly for Sammy she came into season every 4 to 5 months and we found that the supressing tablets did not agree with her, this really effected her racing but to be fair to her she has always given 110% and this show that in nearly half her races she has come 1st or 2nd, but 4 Wins in 2015 was really scant reward for the effort the Grader really did have her in his grip, and 12 2nd Places in 2015 seemed to be treated as Wins .. a few words were spoken but we moved into 2016 on the 7th Jan Sammy won again but by this time she was Spayed, this happened in October and nobody could tell us how it would affect her, well she lost her form a bit so in Jan it was great to see her Win again, and this was always going to be Sammy's last year of Racing, 100 Races I always said would be her target and then home with me to spend the rest of her life with me Charlie and Maddie, but Sammy is a fantastic racer and always tries to get to the front, and her best Race was yet to come, she got into a Owner Series Final after leading but just got 2nd place, in the final it looked very hard indeed and I have to say it was the 1st time I have not shouted her home, indeed I stood there in stunned silence as she went over the Line I had to ask and lots of the Owners said she had Won, I waited and then the result came over Sammy had won, for me I was so pleased not only for the Owners, but also for Sammy it was her FA Cup final she might of been the underdog but she found her form .. and as she came over from the Kennels to the Podium I called her and she knew I was there pulling to get to me, a Fantastic Night and a real testament to Sammy ,, its 14 Race Wins in April 2016 and the hope is she will reach her 100 mark around the time of our next Social Evening in July .. whatever happens in her last few races we will celebrate her career with a Sponsored Race she has already Won a Race Jacket but will have her Trap 1 with her name on when she does Retire, Sammy is like all our Dogs Very Special indeed.
Thanks for reading this .. read between the lines and you can see its written with Love
