Sandy : Our Very Own Mr Happy
Sandy came over as a raw puppy he really is a big stocky lad and straight away and I said this all along which I am sure the owners will tell you, that Sandy wouldn't mature until he was much older and in 2014 he 6 Races in the A8 and his best was 2 second places ... But I told the Owners not to worry and please be patient ..
that they were and in Jan 2015 on the 17th he Won his first Race a A8 at Romford ..
2 Wins in Feb A7 and A6 we had to wait until April for him to Win a A5 and he was still nowhere near the Dog I said he would be, 2 Wins in May 2 in July Aug October which was his first A1 and December made it 13 Wins in 2015 .. putting him up in the Top 50 Graded Dogs in the country ..
If ever Patience was rewarded Sandy Won in Jan 2016 but a little like Lewis Hamilton things haven't quite clicked and a injury has meant some time off, but really he deserves a break and I am sure he will return to add to his 3 A1 Wins
Why Mr Happy : Anybody who has met Sandy will tell you he really is always Happy, the tail never stops and he loves to be stroked under his chin he would stay in the same place for hours if you carried on, Such a Lovely dog he is a medium type of brindle he does pull a bit but who minds, Hopefully as I say he will return from his break and just go and enjoy his racing again, he has a turn of early 3:77 and when in front he is very hard to pass a few have tried but most have failed
Sandy was named after a Owners friend who passed away, I know as he has told me but Sandy above would be so proud to be watching Sandy Race .
