Merlin after his fantastic 1st Trial will now have a 2nd trial before he goes for a open race, lots of work is going on with him to get the weight he has lost on his back again and of course settle him down, Shares are still for Sale and I know how excited Martyn was about his first look at Romford whilst he really was all over the place he still did the 2nd fastest time of the day, the Price stays the same and for a one off payment its a really excellent deal.
Steve is fine after his run on Sat a little disappointing but a slower break this time and a few knocks in the race but he is fine
Dancer after winning the Owners Series Final a little while ago is having a 10 day break she deserve that bless her but will run again this week.
Liam continues on his break and will be back in May
Max picked up a wrist and back injury in his last race and like a few others will have 3-4 weeks for a short break to re-charge the batteries, to be fair we have a few resting or recovering from injuries but the Right thing is always what is best for the Dogs
Tina continues in having her season
Roxy is another one off with a problem with a Corn, but Roxy is now to head to the breeding paddocks
Sandy another on the injured list but like Max its really just a matter of resting up 3-4 weeks his shoulder TFL muscle is being treated no long term issue for our 13 times winner last year
Lexi The Graders got her by the well you get the idea, we also know she is on a down cycle in her form so no big worries for Lexi she will win when given a chance
Socks : Continues to give everything he can, as he works towards his retirement in June, he is now walking with his new best friends 2 Dogs a Greyhound and Spaniel he will go to live with, doing well with them
Frank delighted with his last race and we feel we can now start to get him really fit, we very nearly lost Frank to a very serious Neck injury but he is working his way back now
Tas She popped out of the boxes and led but the Vet think she over stretched and tore a muscle again not serious and 6 weeks off for Tas but a full recovery and to be honest it might well be the best thing for her as it will help her in the long term
Rolo was found to of been cramped up in his last race but this will be worked on and after his long layoff he is just about ready to Rock and Rolo
Patch will have a 6 bend trial he is really catching the eye at the pick and looks a natural for 6 bends just now finding his feet after his fall
Becks : She just needs a change of Luck its really as simple as that.
Lacey has been retired due to her Hock injury and goes to her Forever home in May, she will be spayed first and I'm just about to order her a new lead and jacket for her new owner, everything else is ready for her
Eileen she is now 13 months old and is really catching the eye in schooling trials, a lovely looker this daughter of Ballymac Eske is one to keep a eye on
Charlie and Maddie who are retired and Live with me are both fine and with Maddie biting Charlie tail to get him to play with him its always a lovely sight, they visit the kennels on Sunday so still get to see there friends, and anybody who goes will tell you how much Charlie and Maddie get excited to be there, both will be shown at a Greyhound show later this year
So a Quick update, the Owners Mid month Newsletter will be emailed out today, this is just a mere 8 pages long, but as we love to keep owners up to date its always a pleasure, Our Social night on the 30th July is now full up Thanks and if anybody has any questions there are Email boxes on the Website just google To Tone Syndicate
