So going into a Race your Dog is 25/1 and that gives you a sense of all well, or worse ... but when that Race is a Scottish Derby you must be thinking that the boy did well to get into the final ...
Dreams do come true : well as the owners watched the traps open there hearts would of gone up a beat, but coming home there hearts must of been beating like a Scots Guards Bass, But Hot Pipe proved again that Dog racing is all about Hope, Dreams and anything can happen these after all are Dogs they don't read the papers, put on bets or work out the form, it would be lovely to think they could talk to each other, can you imagine last night Hey Pal what'sss ur problem ... but when they go in Fate, good luck, and quite often the sheer fact that Every Dog has its Day .. well last night it was Hot Pipes and it won both on merit and class
Well done to all the Owners supporters many who will of enjoyed a few cans of Tennants (if you have been to Shawfield you will know what I mean)
And only in one Place could the Trainer be called Scotchie Brown .. Fantastic and a good result for Greyhound racing after the boring Aintree Races with 1/5 on shots in them
